A Writer’s Journey Through the Unseen

I never intended to write a book. I was simply journaling — dreams, meditations, and the quiet whispers of mystical experiences that came during healing sessions. These were sacred messages I received over the years — some for me, some for the spiritual community I founded, Tejaswini. A decade passed like this, in silent documentation.

Then something shifted.

It began when I moved into my current home. Three uncanny events unfolded — each a sign, each pulling me toward a forgotten part of myself.

First, an old back injury returned without warning. As someone deeply attuned to energy and the chakras, I knew this wasn’t random. The back relates to the Root Chakra — the energy centre tied to support, security, and survival.

Then, I came across a beautiful Ganesha idol in a local market. I felt an undeniable pull and placed it on my terrace. Ganesha — remover of obstacles, guardian of beginnings, and also a Root Chakra deity. A second sign.

And then came the dream—or rather, the memory.

I saw myself in another time, another life, as an Energy Healer in this very region. I worked with herbs, energy, and intuition. But not everyone welcomed it. In that life, I was attacked… fatally, in the back.

When I awoke, the back pain that had been bothering me began to ease. And more importantly, something profound cracked open — as if the voice silenced in that lifetime was finally returning.
That’s when the book began to write itself.

The writing process took about a year and a half. It wasn’t easy. The hardest part was trying to turn deeply personal and spiritual experiences into something a wider audience could understand and connect with.

I often struggled with questions like:

– How do I explain these mystical experiences without sounding esoteric?

– How do I ground the language so that even someone new to spirituality could follow it?

– Should I simplify things? Add explanations? Will people think this is too much?

Eventually, I had to let go of all those doubts and trust the process. I stopped trying to make it perfect, and wrote from a space of honesty and surrender. I surrendered to the flow, and the pages began to form.

When the manuscript was ready, I sought a publisher. That’s when I discovered Zorba Books — and felt an intuitive yes. The word Zorba reminded me of Zorba the Buddha — a symbol of someone who balances and integrates the material and the spiritual.

Interestingly, one of my favourite cards in the Osho Zen Tarot Card deck is the King of Prosperity, which features the symbolism of Zorba the Buddha. For me, Zorba stands for abundance, grounding, and wholeness — exactly what this book represents.

That intuitive nudge told me I was in the right place. And I’m so glad I trusted it.

Since then, life has undergone many changes. Writing Mystical Encounters felt like a full-circle moment — not just for my past lives, but also for the energy work I’ve been doing all these years.

Since its release, Mystical Encounters has become a #1 New Hot Seller on Amazon India and climbed the bestseller list in the Mysticism category — a humbling affirmation of this sacred journey.

But more than any label, this book felt like a reclamation of forgotten pasts, of silenced truths, and of the healer-writer within.

I now continue this path through teaching, sharing, and guiding others in Light Up with Tejaswini LIVE sessions, which I’ve integrated with the Tejaswini app, and now, this book. Together, they offer energetically resonant guidance to seekers navigating their own spiritual landscapes.

I don’t know what the next chapter looks like, but I trust the path.

Some books are written. Others arrive when the time is right.

This one arrived through pain, memory, and mystery.
And I was simply the one chosen to bring it through.
