Language Dominance: Position of a Language in the Present Era

(with special reference to the Assamese and English Language)

I am writing this book to explore the circumstances among the speakers of different languages. (Such as the native language speakers and the second language speaker). This book covers how important the native or the mother tongue is! It also covers the impacts of language in social media while texting or messaging, and the situation of both Assamese and the English language in the mouth
of people in daily life.

Language dominance is not a natural but a social process where a language has come to be assigned different levels of importance. It also describes individual instances of language use. Language is very powerful or dominant that can modify one’s thoughts. Language means every language including the native language, is very essential to know how to speak, write and read so as to have the confidence in knowing a particular language thoroughly while expressing. One may learn other languages since it is now on-demand but not by avoiding the importance of the mother language.
