1944 had it’s own drawbacks. There was terror in people of the British attacks and people were following non violence

In railway station premises Raghu used to spend his day right from 9 am to 5 pm.

Ram had undergone training in railway construction and was looking for a job. But because of freedom movements and attacks by Britishers he was reluctant to volunteer for job.

He had asked Raghu to find any job small or big related to railways for him.

Anu used to spend her time cooking in the kitchen,washing clothes, watering the plants and bringing water from the tap near the tube well which was located just 2 minutes from their home.

Anna’ s mother used to be resting with Anna opposite her in the bed.
