About the Authors
Kahaan and Vedika Khaitan are two compassionate individuals who have embarked on the journey of impacting the lives of those around them. They met last year, got struck by cupid’s arrow and tied the knot. They believe in living life passionately, with meaningful relationships, having a variety of experiences, working with diligence and indulging in a whole lot of laughter and fun! Their joint purpose is to offer a new and optimistic perspective on the various happenings in everyone’s lives.
Kahaan finished his schooling from the prestigious St. Columba’s School (Delhi) and graduated with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Babson College, Boston. His passion for writing poetry developed after moving back to India and his inspiration stems from his own relationships and the plethora of emotions we go through in everyday life. Kahaan has penned a poetry book by the name Straight from my Heart and this is his second work. Presently he is working in his family business and along with writing poems, he has started House of Hope, a humanitarian project that helps to develop and nurture underprivileged children.
Vedika finished her schooling from the renowned Welham Girls School (Dehradun) where she was elected to be the Head Girl. She graduated with Honors from McIntire School of Commerce, University of Virginia completing a Bachelors degree in Business. She has worked in New York and Singapore and has now started her own Creative Consulting and Digital Marketing firm, Alphaavittos, which means ‘Alphabet’ in Greek–the foundation of all communication that exists in the world. Vedika first started writing when she poured her heart out in her journals at the age of 13 after being inspired by the Diary of Anne Frank. Her blogs draw inspiration from some of her favourite quotes, giving them a unique interpretation by linking them to life and its journey of beautiful experiences! In all, Vedika has written over 60 blogs, but for this book she has selected 13 that are closest to her heart.
